What Happens When Cache and Cookies are cleared from Chrome?
When you browse any kind of website, Sometimes it will save some certain information. Cookies help to save browsing data, on the other hand, cache helps webpages load more faster by remembering these cookies like email, password, images, videos, and other webpage information from the last visit.
When you delete/clear these cache and cookies from your Google Chrome, all of this information gets deleted/cleared. It’s mean that any email or passwords you’ve entered on a website will need to be re-entered this information and the load time will increase than before because the website needs to load again.
How to Clear/delete Chrome’s Cache and Cookies?
If you want to delete/clear the cache and cookies in Google Chrome, you’ll need to go to the browser’s Settings. You can choose three different ways you can get here and clear/delete cache and cookies in Chrome.
Step 1: At first you can click the three vertical dots icon in the top-right corner of Google Chrome, go to “More Tools,” and then select “Clear Browsing Data.”
Or You can use the keyboard shortcuts to get in there. You may have noticed from the picture that there is a keyboard shortcut “Ctrl + Shift + Delete”. You can use this shortcut to go to the settings.
Or you can use an alternative way that is URL search option to get in there. Go to Google Chrome address bar and enter
Step 2: Provably you are now in the “Clear Browsing Data” window. Now you have to select the time range for deleting the cookies and cache. Click in the box next to “Time Range” and select the desired time range. “All Time” is set to by default.
Next step, check the boxes next to “Cookies And Other Site Data” and “Cached Images and Files.” You can also clear the browsing history if you want, but not necessary.
After boxes are checked, select the “Clear Data” button. All of your cache and cookies of Google Chrome will be cleared/deleted.
